NTP Technology will show the latest enhancements to its DAD AX32 ultra-high quality audio converter and Penta 720/721 digital audio routers in Paris at SATIS 2016 (November 15-17) and in Cologne at the 29th Tonmeistertagung (November 17-20).

Co-exhibiting at SATIS on stand 3-B34 with French distributor Areitec, and on stand 2-09 at TMT29, NTP will demonstrate the versatility of the AX32 with AX32 firmware version 2.0. This is a comprehensive new expansion of the existing AX32 converter functionality, available as standard in all delivered AX32 and DX32 units. The firmware of all existing units can easily be upgraded via NTP's DADman software. The new firmware and DADman come free of charge.

AX32 firmware version 2.0 provides an increase of the matrix capacity to 1,500 x 1,500 non-blocking cross points for routing and splitting any input to one or more outputs. All input and output channels have independent level control and audio metering. All input and output signals can be assigned a label which is stored in the unit. The summing system has a capacity of 32 output buses and 256 inputs which can be used for Pro | Mon monitor control as well as the Cue | Mix zero latency cue mixing system.

DADman 5.1 redesigned software has an enhanced look and feel and shows signal level meters on all analogue and digital inputs and outputs. The connection matrix has been made larger for easier overview. Pro | Mon can be operated fully from DADman 5.1 in parallel with Eucon-enabled control surfaces. This also applies to the new Cue | Mix functionality.

NTP Technology will also exhibit the latest version of its Visual Matrix Control (VMC) routing software. VMC is a flexible and configurable Windows-based user interface for managing audio routing between studios. It has a wide range of applications both in broadcast facilities and audio post-production houses. VMC allows efficient and versatile management of signal routing and monitoring in the NTP Blue | NET MADI and audio-over-IP routing control system.

NTP Technology will demonstrate VMC in a system based on an NTP Penta 720 MADI router with a Blue | NET enabled 635 controller interconnecting an AX32 Eucon-enabled postproduction system and well as Dante compliant audio-over-IP devices in a common router structure.

VMC allows fast and easy GUI-based routing of audio signals in various formats from all connected interfaces. All signal levels can be viewed as peak programme meters and individually monitored. Flexible scheduled routing automation can be managed as well as signal-dependant routing.

VMC is a client/server based application allowing multiple instances to run in parallel. This multiple user functionality includes individual user rights management for access to the various control features.
