ATG Danmon Reports Healthy Demand for SI Services

Letchworth, Hertfordshire, UK –  ATG Danmon will promote its full range of systems integration services on the Danmon Group stand, 8.B51, at IBC2018. These include consultancy, project planning, workflow design, system installation, testing and commissioning, documentation, training and technical support.

"We are experiencing a healthy level of activity across many areas of the media business," says ATG Danmon Managing Director Russell Peirson-Hagger.

"Nearing completion are two mobile video production systems for one of Europe's longest established parliamentary television channels. These will allow recording and live broadcasting from various committee rooms located within the government buildings. Each system will include remotely controlled pan/tilt/zoom high definition cameras, a Ross Carbonite live production switcher and a Blackmagic HyperDeck Studio recorder."

"One of London's leading theatres has commissioned us to design and integrate an archive system based on a Squarebox CatDV media asset management solution. The theatre records many of its performances for relay to viewing theatres around the world. With this new facility, its media staff will be able to ingest each production into an SNS server-based online storage system and a near-online data tape library. The system will also provide the ability to search and retrieve media when required. This is due to complete in October."

"We have just finalised a storage system for a leading London training organisation. This will equip its creative media team to archive and access very large amounts of video content quickly and efficiently. Occupying just 4 U of space, the system's 16 bays can accommodate 80 drives. Clients will be able to access the system simultaneously without need for any additional switching."

"We have won several other significant projects recently which are just at their early stages. These include a studio upgrade for a high-profile international broadcaster, a major newsroom refit and, for one of our corporate customers, a new studio and production facility. In short, the media industry appears to be in good shape which is keeping us nice and busy!"
